EMPACT 2015 by INDUSEM-ACEE Concludes @ AIIMS Delhi

The 6th Annual Edition of EMPACT2015: The Comprehensive Review Course of Emergency Medicine taught by Academic Stalwarts from United States of America and India in partnership with the Academic College of Emergency Experts in India was held at AIIMS, New Delhi in May.

13 National and International Faculty taught the course for 11 hours daily for 5 days. The whole textbook of EM by was discussed by the faculty.

The EMPACT course carefully picks its faculty based on feedback from the attendees. The course is modified every year to make it progressively better and clinically based covering the complete body of knowledge of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Bonnie Arquilla who is awell-knownfigure and mentor among the Indian Emergency Residents from the SUNY Downstate EM Program in NY USA was the course director for EMPACT2015. She is a pioneer in Disaster Medicine and is the Professor of EM at SUNY Downstate, USA.

Dr. Christopher Doty is the Director of EM Residency Program at the University of Kentucky. He also in a part of the Leadership of the Council for Residency Directors of EM in USA (CORD). A well-known Simulation Education Experthe delivered the best lectures the country has ever witnessed in emergency medicine that too in the prestigious halls of AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Laurie Doty was the third US faculty for the EMPACT Course.
