EMPART2016 Prescribes to Emergency Pediatricians !

The 3rdAnnual ACEE INDUSEM Pediatric Emergency Medicine Review Course held at Smt.KashibaiNavale Medical College, Pune India.

Led by Distinguished Professor of Pediatric Emergency Medicine from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center Dr. Binita Shah, this course was taught over 5 Days with faculty from United States of America and India.

EMPART: Emergency Medical Pediatric Advances and Recent Therapeutics Course is the Annual Review Course for pediatric Emergency Physicians. Candidates pursuing a FACEE under the aegis of the Academic College of Emergency Experts in India via the PEM track are mandated to take this Course. It is also open to all involved in caring for Pediatric Emergencies.

Attended by over 50 Trainees this course gave an exposure on the complete body of knowledge about Pediatric Emergency Medicine including hands on practice on mannequins, simulations and Pediatric emergency ultrasound. The course turned out to be an excellent common ground for the emergency physicians and pediatricians to come together and review the intricacies of Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Ameer Hassoun (USA), Dr. Abhijeet Saha (LHMC, Delhi), Dr. Prerna Batra (UCMS Delhi), Dr. Nitin Trivedi (MGMC, Jaipur) were the other faculty for the course. The Master Class was organized by ACEE leader Dr. Sanjay Natu, a dynamic academician and a young aspiring Pediatric Emergency Physician from Pune, India.

The Pediatric Emergency Ultrasound Training Program was conducted by the Instructors from the INDUSEM International Council for Critical Emergency Sonography. Dr. Ajit Baviskar, Dr. Harshad, Dr.Jayraj and Dr.Vimal Krishnan were the instructors for the course.

SUNY Downstate New York and SKNMC, Pune along with INDUSEM were the main partners for this 3rd Annual Pediatric Emergency Medicine Board Review Course by the Academic College of Emergency Experts of India.
