April 2015 saw the illustrious occurrence of the 2nd Annual INDUSEM-ACEE Symposium & Workshop on Emergency Ultrasound & Point of Care Testing Technology.

IMAGE@EM2 is the symposium which is annually hosted by the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Jubilee Medical College and Research Center in Kerala.

One of the premier MCI Recognized Departments of Emergency Medicine, Jubilee EM boasts of a strong academic department at par with International Standards.

Enjoying strong academic support from the institution it is set to graduate its first Emergency Physicians in 2015.

The Skills Development program attracted over 100 Emergency Physicians and Physicians from other specialties.

Internationally Renowned Sonography Leader and INDUSEM Country Director Dr. Sanjeev Bhoi lead the skills development program on Emergency Ultrasound Education. The Workshop was held under the aegis of The International Council for Critical Emergency Sonography (ICCES).

Dr. Deepak Agarwal held discussion on creating the Paperless Emergency Health Records Systems at Jubilee on line with AIIMS, New Delhi.

Dr. Sagar Galwankar, CEO INDUSEM was the key note speaker who critically pointed out steps in Academic and Career Progress for young emergency physicians. He also emphasized the need for better quality in emergency care.

Dr. Tejprakash Sinha, Dr. Babu, Ms. Nirmal Thakur and Jubilee residents were actively involved in the program which was grand success.

The Jeevan Jyoti Rashtriya Abhiyan and Jan Suraksha Abhiyan were also commissioned at this event and steps were chalked out to take this program across Kerala.

Dr. Jayraj MB got special mention in his tireless efforts to establish Academic EM at Jubilee.
