INDUSEM Leader elected Chair of American Association of Women Emergency Physicians

INDUSEM Leader Dr. Tracy Sanson was recently elected as Chair of the American Association of Women Emergency Physician.

She was Scientific Chair of the INDUSEM Annual Congress of 2007 (Mumbai) and 2008 (Mangalore) and delivered Key Note Oration at both the meetings.

During the last decade Dr. Sanson lead the Successful Initiative to mentor American Emergency Medicine Residents to come and present at INDUSEM Conferences in India. This initiative was funded by TEAM HEALTH for 6 years from 2009-2014. During those 6 Years over 120 Residents travelled to INDUSEM Conferences and laid important fundamentals for themselves which benefitted them in their career growth. Many of those residents are currently holding leadership positions ay Academic Programs in EM across the United States of America.

As an Academic and Clinical Leadership Educator Dr. Sanson has designed and taught various landmark courses to Emergency Physicians and Practicing Doctors across the World.

“Dr. Sanson is a practicing Emergency Physician. A frequent speaker for Emergency Medicine programs, Dr. Sanson also serves as a core faculty member for the American College of Emergency Physicians.  Dr. Sanson has consulted and lectured nationally and internationally on administrative and management issues, leadership, professionalism, communication, patient safety, brand development, personal development, women’s issues and emergency medical clinical topics for a wide range of health care organizations.Dr. Sanson’s experience spans 20 + years in Emergency Medicine Education and ED management and leadership development.
