Leaders Teach the AIIMS Disaster Ultrasound Course @ WADEM Toronto

INDUSEM-ICCES Leaders Professor Dr. Sanjeev Bhoi and Dr. Tej Prakash Sinha from the All India Institute of Medical Sciencesconducted the maiden AIIMS Disaster Ultrasound Course on 24th April 2017 during World Congress for Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WADEM) at Toronto, Canada.

22 Participants Australia, USA, Holland, Canada and around the world attended the course.

This course focused on the use of point of care ultrasound in a disaster setting with the emphasis of empowering the critical management decisions between the periods of rescue to resuscitation.

The skills course is beneficial to medical doctors, physician assistants, nurses, and paramedics who may be deployed during disasters as a team.

The Intellect of the INDUSEM Sonography team was admired by Disaster Health Leaders around the world as this course moves to become a permanent fixture of the Disaster Education Curriculum.
