Professors Agarwal and Roy Shine at ICRAN Columbia

INDUSEM Leaders Professor Agrawal Amit and Professor Nobojit Roy were Key Speakers at the International Conference on Recent Advances in Neurotraumatology, heldat Bogota, Columbia. They presented Data on Neurological Injuries in India and discussed strategies to improve care and outcomes.

Professor Agrawal is Professor and Head of Neurosurgery at Narayana Medical College Nellore. He has over 300 Publications in Literature and Leads INDUSEM Research on Trauma. Dr. Roy is the Professor & Head of Surgical Services at BARC Hospital (Govt. of India) Mumbai, India. He is also a faculty at the School of Habitat, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Currently he is the Lancet Commissioner for NCD & Injuries in the poorest and also Lancet Commissioner for Global Surgery.

“The International Conference on Recent Advances in Neurotraumatology, was held in Bogota, on December 8 to 11 of 2016.This academic meeting was an official international event of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) and allowed a comprehensive assessment of the most important issues in the world of neurotrauma neurosurgery, including aspects of emergency care, neurological surgical and neuro-critical care, including emerging trends in neuro-rehabilitation.
