Emergency Airway and Ventilation

This Workshop offered by Leaders of the National Emergency Airway Training Program.This Training Program will cover Key aspects of achieving Emergency Airway and Accomplishing successful and stable ventilation in Controlled as well as Challenging Scenarios in Emergency and Trauma Medicine. Focus will be equally distributed to cover key practical aspects in all age groups from Pediatric to geriatrics.

Pediatric Emergency and Trauma Sonography

This Training Program focusing on learning key features in using the Emergency Sonogram Technology in the Pediatric Emergency Department and a Busy Trauma Center. Pediatric Sonography is used in Emergency Care to diagnose Gall Bladder Cardiac, Pulmonary, Abdominal Emergencies, Aortic and Vascular Pathology. This workshop will cover key features to techniques for using the right Probes on the right patients to diagnose the right conditions. A considerable amount of time will be spent on hands on training. At the end of the course the Participants will have confidence to use the sonogram in the Pediatric Emergency Department.

Emergency Point of Care Ultrasound in Adults

This Training Program focusing on learning key features in using the Point of Care Sonogram in the Adult Emergency Department and a Busy Trauma Center. Emergency Bedside Sonography is used in Emergency Care to diagnose Gall Bladder Cardiac, Pulmonary, Abdominal Emergencies, Aortic and Vascular Pathology. This workshop will cover key features to techniques for using the right Probes on the right patients to diagnose the right conditions. A considerable amount of time will be spent on hands on training. At the end of the course the Participants will have confidence to use the sonogram in the Adult Emergency Department.

Emergency Clinical Toxicology

The Course will focus mainly on the Emergency room management of Toxicology Victims. It will be a practical oriented course with more emphasis on when and what to do without going into theoretical details of the subject. The participants will have an overview of ED management with essential algorithms in the management of Toxicated patients.

Basic and Advanced ECG, Wound Care and Splinting

A practical session on cleaning and suturing a laceration Participants will have the opportunity to practice basic suturing, stapling, taping, and tissue gluing techniques. This workshop will provide lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice for the care of wounds in the acute care setting. Participant will learn to properly assess and manage a wide range of wounds, the use of skin adhesives, taping and staples, the best suture material, hand ties and instrument ties, basic infection information, wound management and healing to include skin cleaning preparation and various suture techniques. This is a hands-on activity-filled session which will also include various methods to splint bone and joint injuries. Directed by USA Emergency Medicine Faculty the ECG Course will cover all Emergency Rhythms, various Conditions, and treatment pathways. This is a great course which focuses on Emergency ECG Rhythms which need urgent attention and Intervention.

Simulation Education in EMCare
A special workshop on Simulation Education in EM Care to Clinical Situations will be held during the Summit. Specific Scenarios and solutions to high risk situations will also be discussed. Creating, encouraging and fostering leadership to conceive, implement a Simulation Based Education Program is a important mission of this skills session. Simulation Based teaching materials which are tailor made to the Education Environments with live exercises and scenario management discussions will be a part of this skill school.

Pediatric Orthopedic Trauma Skill School

This training is Specially Designed as a Hand on Skill School for Pediatric Orthopedic Trauma Management. It will focus on Complex Management Skills of Single and Multiple Bone and Muscle Injuries in pediatric patients arriving at the Trauma Center. There will be models available for hands on sessions and time is preserved for experts to interact with the delegates.

Fundamentals of Resuscitation in Trauma (FORT)

The sessions will focus mainly on the Emergency room management of Trauma Victims. It will be a practical oriented course with more emphasis on when and what to do without going into theoretical details of the subject. The participants will have an overview of ED management with essential algorithms in the management of Trauma patients.

Emergency Nursing & Pre-Hospital Skills

This workshop will be offered to Nurses and Paramedics and will focus on teaching the Nurses and Paramedics lifesaving procedures which are needed to be a part of the Emergency Response team involving critical emergency patients.

EM Pain Management & Interventions

This workshop will focus on Management of Acute Pain in the ED and also address various Interventional Skills to target the pain. Experts from across the world will share their expertise and impart skills to the delegates.
