BHARAT TASHKENT TIRANGA EXPEDITION 2025
From The Desk of World Explorer Shri Prasad Chaulkar..
The Trans-Asia TIRANGA Yatra 2025 On the Wheels of Unity… An International Motorcycle Expedition Powered by WACEM, INDUSEM, WHOCCET, ACEE, & EMA.

The TIRANGA Yatra was made possible by the unwavering support of the world’s leading emergency medicine institutions.
This unique expedition found its roots in India and traveled through Nepal, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, tracing the historic Silk Route. It was led by Mr. Prasad Chaulkar, a nationally recognized biker, social Campaigner, and recipient of the INDUSEM “Jan Suraksha Puraskar” (2022) for his exemplary work in public awareness through long-distance rides.
What set this journey apart was its alignment with emergency medicine and public health goals.
The MOTORCYCLE — often seen as a symbol of freedom and thrill — was here used as a strategic medium to reach people in remote, diverse, and high-risk geographies. Motorcycles offer mobility in terrains where emergency vehicles might struggle, making them not only a symbol of adventure but also an efficient awareness tool.

The success of the Trans-Asia Trail 2025 would not have been possible without the consistent guidance and institutional support from:
- WACEM (World Academic Congress of Emergency Medicine)
- WHOCCET (World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Emergency and Trauma, AIIMS New Delhi)
- INDUSEM
- ACEE (Academic College of Emergency Experts)
- EMA (Emergency Medicine Association)
These organizations stand at the forefront of promoting emergency preparedness, medical innovation, and collaborative research across the world.
By supporting this road expedition, they reiterated their commitment to bridging emergency medicine and mass preparedness for the greater good.
Mentorship of Dr. Sagar Galwankar
A central figure to this initiative is Dr. Sagar Galwankar (USA) — a globally respected Emergency Medicine Expert, Chief Academic Officer of INDUSEM, and Executive Director of ACEE. His leadership has played a transformative role in developing Academic Emergency Medicine in India and subsequently globalizing India’s emergency medical ecosystem.
Dr. Galwankar’s mentorship was pivotal not only in this expedition but also in previous national-level initiatives such as “Azadi Ki Amrit Parikrama” — a 25,000 km nationwide ride celebrating India@75. His belief in “Social Innovation through Medical Collaboration” is evident in how he empowers community-led awareness through accessible tools like motorcycle expeditions.
Cultural Connections and Message of Unity
The Trans-Asia Trail was not merely a physical journey — it was an emotional and cultural odyssey. At the heart of it was people to-people connection, fostered across every border crossed.
From the snow-clad Himalayan passes to the desert storms of China’s Taklamakan and the icy winds of the Pamir ranges, Prasad Chaulkar experienced extreme and unpredictable weather conditions firsthand. Riding through scorching plains, freezing nights, and high-altitude deserts, he not only overcame the physical challenges but embraced the diverse cultures with open arms.

The expedition was a living bridge — exchanging thoughts, traditions, and goodwill with the people of each nation. Chaulkar also tasted local cuisines, adapted to regional lifestyles, and used every opportunity to spark dialogue on safety, preparedness, and human unity.
He didn’t just ride through countries — he lived them. Every conversation became a new lesson, every interaction a piece of a greater puzzle of humanity.
The expedition officially concluded in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where Shri. Chaulkar paid tribute to former Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, and was received by WACEM World Leader Dr. Khikmat Anvarov.
This journey was not just about reaching Tashkent. It was about reaching people.
It was not just about covering distance. It was about covering hearts.
Through institutions like WACEM, INDUSEM, WHOCCET, ACEE, and EMA, and with the visionary mentorship of Dr. Sagar Galwankar, this expedition gave a global message on wheels — a message of unity, awareness, and resilience.
“The TIRANGA YATRA Celebrates the arrival of the World Academic Congress of Emergency Medicine in BHARAT in October 2025 coinciding with the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of INDUSEM & 10th Anniversary of WACEM. Through this Expedition we have complimented the vision of the Prime Minister of our Motherland BHARAT Shri. Narendra Modi to enhance security and prosperity across all sectors including health and medicine in the Asia region.
As the Flag of BHARAT accompanied by Flags of WACEM INDUSEM EMA & ACEE reached TASHKENT, Prime Minister Shri. Modiji concluded the Foreign Ministers Meeting with Ministers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan back home in New Delhi” Said INDUSEM CEO Dr. Sagar Galwankar
