The World Health Organization Collaborating Center of Emergency and Trauma in South East Asia supported and championed the National CPR Awareness Week in India. The CPR was an important undertaking by Government of India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It was celebrated enthusiastically from October 13 to 17, 2025. It included various activities such as live demonstrations, online pledges, and panel discussions. The initiative focused on the importance of having CPR training for every household, school, and workplace, as cardiac arrests often occur outside medical facilities.

The alarming cardiac arrest rates in India were answered by Mass CPR Training initiative which will now equip bystanders with CPR Skills.
The INDUSEM engagement with WHO-CCET was Led by Professor Sanjeev Bhoi all centers engaged with INDUSEM Mission wholeheartedly backed this initiative.
