Emergency Medicine Association of Maharashtra in partnership with KIMS Kingsway Hospital, Nagpur, under the leadership of Dr. Rupesh Bokade hosted the Annual EM Maharashtra Conference Titled EMPACT2025 ~ 2025—Emergency Medicine, Prehospital & Trauma Care Conference.


With the theme “Beyond the Golden Hour: Advancing Trauma Care”, EMPACT 2025 emerged as one of India’s premier academic platforms for trauma and emergency medicine education, bringing together experts, practitioners, and students to strengthen emergency care delivery systems in the country.
Over two transformative days, EM practitioners, trauma surgeons, critical care scientists, EMS professionals, and postgraduate scholars engaged in an intensive exploration of new protocols, research, and clinical practices in trauma and emergency care.
Highlights:
- 280+ registrations, including practicing clinicians, trauma specialists, paramedics, and students.
- More than 60 national faculty members, drawn from AIIMS, WHO Collaborating Centers, EMA India, ISCCM, Nagpur Branch, and key trauma centers across India.
- Scienti?c program showcased paper and poster presentations by postgraduate students in Emergency Medicine, highlighting emerging research and innovation.

- Thematic Sessions: Covered Prehospital care & golden-hour trauma; Thoracic, head, orthopedic injuries; Hemorrhage control; Resuscitation; Pediatric trauma; and more—each session led by national experts.
- Interactive Talks & Case-Based Learning: Enabled clinicians to discuss real-world scenarios and evidence-based management strategies.
- Panel Q&A sessions facilitated peer interaction and knowledge dissemination across disciplines.
