INDUSEM Leader & The Emergency Medicine Association of India’s Central Zone Regional Secretary Professor. Dr. Bikram K Gupta Honored with the Young Scientist Award at CRITICON 2025 held at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh – October 3, 2025.
Hon’ble Shri Ravi Kishan Ji, Member of Parliament (Gorakhpur), and Hon’ble Shri Kamlesh Paswan Ji, Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh conferred this prestigious award on Professor Bikram for his commitment to academics and science of Acute Care.
Professor Bikram Gupta is a INDUSEM Leader who also holds the Prestigious Fellowship of The Academic College of Emergency Experts in India.
CRITICON 2025 was jointly organized by ISCCM Gorakhpur City Branch in association with AIIMS Gorakhpur and Baba Raghav Das Medical College, Gorakhpur.
CRITICON brought together leading intensivists, academicians, and researchers from across the country to discuss advancements and innovations in the field of critical care with a focus on Uttar Pradesh.
Professor Dr. Bikram Gupta is one of the foremost academic leaders in INDUSEM. His work ethic and dedication to science are very much recognized and appreciated. He has been working for the organization since 2016 and has also served as one of the most successful editors of the 15+ years old TEAMS Newsletter published by INDUSEM.
Currently he heads the INDUSEM CII (Critical Illness & Injury Initiative) which is expanding the footprint of emergency care to include critical care, operative care and prehospital care with a vision to solidify the chain of survival for patients seeking life-saving medical care.
