AIM2017 Clinical Congress @ Clearwater

The 2nd Clinical Congress of The American College of Academic International Medicine (ACAIM) was held at Wydham Grand Clearwater Beach Hotel, Florida from 28th July to 30th July 2017.The ACAIM Annual meeting is named as Academic International Medicine (AIM) Congress.

INDUSEM Leaders had led the founding of The American College of Academic International Medicine in July 2016 at the 1st Constitutional Congress in Pennsylvania.

AIM2017 was attended by over 110 Delegates with Residents and Fellows presenting their research from across the world. The Theme for AIM2017 was “CONNECTING HEALTH WITH CARE” The congress was supported by OPUS12 Foundation, INDUSEM and the Drs. Kiran and Pallavi Patel Family Foundation.

Professor Gracias (Rutgers Surgery), Professor Prof. Juan Asensio (Creighton Surgery) & Prof. Terence Stephenson (Chair of General Medical Council UK) were the Key Note Speakers.

AIM2017 had than 50 + Podium Presentations and over 70 World Renowned Academicians spoke at this Successful Academic Extravaganza.

The AIM2017 Consensus Conference was on “Values & Metrics in International Academic Medicine”. Academicians with a focus on International Medicine from various Universities and Academic Specialties in the United States participated in the Consensus Conference.

The Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) held their Mid-Year Meeting on the sidelines of AIM2017.

AIM2018 will be held in New York City in July 2018. It will be hosted by The State University of New York Downstate Medical Center.

Professor Bonnie Arquilla (SUNY Academic Emergency Medicine) took over as President of ACAIM for 2017-2018 from Founding President Stanislaw Stawicki (St Luke’s Academic Surgery).
