EM-UTTAR22 Ushers Uniqueness

Emergency Medicine Association of India (EMA), Uttarakhand Chapter held its Annual Conference in an Online Format.

EM-UTTAR22 celebrated The International Emergency Medicine Day on 27th May 2022.

EM-UTTAR22 was organised by the Emergency Medicine experts from AIIMS Rishikesh, under the umbrella of Academic College of Emergency Experts in India (ACEE) and EMA.

Under the leadership of Dr Vimal Krishnan, the Principal Secretary of the EMA, and Dr Bharat Bhushan Bhardwaj, EMA Undersecretary for Uttarakhand, EM-UTTAR22 registered over 400 participants from various academic and service emergency departments across India.

Deviating from the mainstream bookish teaching and learning model, EM-UTTAR22 followed a Unique Format which composed of an exciting line-up of interactive talks which opened a wide array of discussion, ranging from translational research to Innovation and health-tech in emergency medicine and acute care.

EM-UTTAR22 unconventionally brought forth an amalgamation of speakers from the apex academic centres in India, and leaders in health entrepreneurship in Indian landscape.

The future physician’s segment was represented by the young, enthusiastic and academically prolific residents of Emergency Medicine who presented interesting and tough cases and their research in the field of acute care.

The event was highly appreciated for its content, organisation, and relevance the active participants, who are looking forward towards more such interesting endeavours by the association.

Under the able leadership of Dr Sagar Galwankar (CEO, INDUSEM), Dr Praveen Aggarwal (Vice President, ACEE India, and HOD Emergency Medicine, AIIMS New Delhi) and Dr Sanjeev Bhoi (Head, WHO Collaborating Centre for Trauma in SEAR), EM-UTTAR22 concluded with a promise to annually deliver on the high standards it has set.
