KOLAR EBEST SUPERFEST

The Department of Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesiology & Critical Care at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, SDUAHER, KOLAR In association with the Emergency medicine Association of India organized a two day conference called EBEST (Evidence Best Emergency & Trauma) on 11th and 12th June 2022.

EBEST began with the welcome address given by Dr N T Murali Mohan, Professor & HOD, Dept of Emergency Medicine.

Vice chancellor SDUAHER Dr Pradeep Kumar, Dean SDUAHER Dr P N Sreeramulu, Dr Sanjeev Kumar Bhoi, Prof. JPN Apex Trauma Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr Vimal Krishnan Pillai Principal Secretary, EMA-INDIA graced the occasion.

Over 175 Delegates attended EBEST2022.

It was a hybrid meeting also available online and in person. Dr. K. J. Devendra Prasad was the organizing secretary of the event.

Airway and Trauma Care workshops were conducted as part of the scientific program.

All the Speakers and audience celebrated the success of EBEST2022 and were acknowledged on behalf of Sri Devaraj Urs Medical college by Dr. Rajesh. K.

About Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College

In the year 1984, a group of dedicated and like-minded visionaries headed by Shri. R.L. Jalappa, a champion of the Cooperative movement in the state of Karnataka established the Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust for Backward Classes with the focus on provisioning of Medical Education and Social Services. The trust started Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College at Tamaka, Kolar, in the year 1986. Through this college, the trust sought to make a significant contribution to Medical Education, Research, and Health Care to the rural population. The Department of Emergency medicine at R.L Jalappa hospital & Research Centre, Sri Devaraj Urs medical college, a constituent of Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research SDUAHER was established on 15th August 2019 with a new look and better facilities to provide better healthcare and safeguard the interests of the patients.
