SANJEEV Shines

EMA life member, Dr. O P Sanjeev, was invited for a live TV show (“Sehat Aapki” meaning Your Health) at Doordarshan UP, a state partner of the National TV Network on 30th August, 2023.

During the show, he answered queries related to the infrastructure and operations of Emergency Medicine Departments.

He also included how a lay person can respond to common time sensitive emergencies like trauma, chest pain, stroke, snake bite etc.

Dr. Sanjeev, very explicitly described in common terms with suitable examples, emergency situations and expected actions to be taken by bystanders. He also discussed in detail various preventive measures.

Dr. Sanjeev instilled in mind of viewers, the importance of time management while addressing emergency health issues.

Dr. Sanjeev is Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the apex institute of Uttar Pradesh, the most populated state of India, Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow.

“Sehat Aapki” is a very popular weekly regional TV show in Uttar Pradesh and is viewed by the population across the world.

Dr. O P Sanjeev spoke wonderfully to enhance awareness for Emergency Medicine in the civil society.
